Event Description

This exhibition showcases images of the people and places of New York City from The Museum of Modern Art's collection "Picturing New York." The exhibit includes nearly 150 photographs taken by some of the most important figures in the history of the medium including Lewis Hine, Berenice Abbott, Walker Evans, Harry Callahan and Diane Arbus. Also on view is "Picturing the South," a fascinating look at new work created in and around the American South by photographers Martin Parr, Kael Alford and Shane Lavalette.
