Event Description
This exhibit showcases a visually compelling interpretation of the history of African-American Gospel music through works by Michele Wood. The extraordinary images in this exhibit are taken from the award-winning illustrated children’s books I See the Rhythm of Gospel and I Lay My Stitches Down. Wood is the 2012 recipient of the Ashley Bryan Children’s Literature Illustrator Award.
