Location:
High Museum of Art
8/25/2012
Saturday from 7 to 11 p.m.
Event Description
Celebrate two exhibitions on view at the High Museum of Art this summer, Rising Up: Hale Woodruff's Murals from Talladega College and Picturing New York/Picturing the South, with teens just like you. Try printmaking in the studios, share your talents at an open-mic session, and tour special exhibitions with members of the Teen Team. Not enough? Catch special performances by The Anons (Martin Luther King Jr. and Southwest DeKalb High Schools), The Hole in the Wall (Ben Franklin Academy), the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra, and the Alliance Theatre Teen Ensemble. If none of this is your bag, just wander through the High's collections with the new friends you'll meet.
