Event Description
Springtime explodes in a kaleidoscopic extravaganza of hundreds of thousands of tulips and other bulbs during "Atlanta Blooms!" at the Atlanta Botanical Garden. Featuring more than a quarter-million bulbs — including tulips, daffodils, hyacinths, crocuses and many others — this third annual event begins with pots along the Promenade and Crape Myrtle Allee, continues with 8,000 double cream and pink and cream bi-colors in the Levey Parterre, and spreads throughout the garden. For the first time, islands of tulips will float in containers in the Fuqua Conservatory reflecting pool. Also guest starring in the show are the lesser known but equally delightful species tulips, representing what tulips in their native range of the Middle East through China more closely resemble.
