Artist Talk: Saturday, March 23 at 2 p.m.
This exhibit honors music in art with a group of musical-themed pastel portraits by Susan Gore Gardner and ceramics by Ann Wallin. The exhibit features 40 of Gardner's pastel portraits of musicians who have been her inspiration over the years. From Eric Clapton, Buddy Guy, Robert Cray and Muddy Waters to more recent musical talents such as Del Campbell, Tom Petty, Lloyd Nicely and Bo Bice, these portraits honor and connect the close relationship between visual arts and music. Wallin's bright and colorful imaginative designs offer a perfect complement to these musical portraits.
