Event Description
Join Living Walls to celebrate the visual transformation of East Atlanta Village. In true fashion, bars, businesses and venues have joined forces with Living Walls to put together the biggest Block Party as of yet — an all-day event featuring an artist market, drink specials at six different bars, a live show at 529 (and a secret show at a certain secret spot), a live Iron Pour at So Ba, drinking and dancing. Along the way, check out work by Molly Rose Freeman, Christopher Derek Bruno, Rachel Burnstein, JD Koth and the Knitterati. Living Walls is a nonprofit organization that brings together street artists, academics and the public at large to activate and engage communities.
Schedule of events:
12 to 5 p.m.: Guided tour of walls and installations
12 to 6 p.m.: Artist market at Midway Pub and Art Attack Kids Craft Table
5 p.m.: Pop-up gallery featuring Concepts Artists
10 p.m. to 12 a.m.: Live music and performances at 529 and Mary's
12 a.m.: Iron Pour at So Ba
12 to 2 a.m.: After Party with DJ Sam Holloway at 529
