Description
Marietta/Cobb Museum of Art occupies a renovated historic Classical Revival building just south of Marietta Square that opened as the Cobb County United States Post Office on March 14, 1910. Founded by visionary art patrons, this leading visual arts center is the only metro Atlanta fine arts museum focusing on American art. The museum combines stately elegance and unique character with a variety of spaces ranging from intimate to grand. Architectural features such as a marble foyer and vintage hardwood floors, combined with fine art, add a cultural elegance to the building.
