Samson Q2U: A Flexible Starting Point for Recording
Two connection paths
USB-C and XLR give the Q2U two connection options. You can plug it directly into a computer with a USB-C interface or use the included XLR cable with equipment built around an XLR connection.
Match the connection to your existing setup before you buy.
A useful starter bundle
The desktop tripod stand, extension, clip, windscreen, and two cables make the Q2U package convenient for a simple recording station.
The accessories also make the bundle a better fit for buyers who want the basic setup pieces together, rather than choosing each one separately.
The handheld format
A handheld dynamic microphone can work for recording at a desk with the supplied stand or for situations where the user prefers to hold the mic.
If your workspace requires a specific boom arm, fixed mount, or control layout, make sure the package aligns with that arrangement before buying.
Match the computer port
The simplest computer connection depends on a USB-C interface. Buyers should check their computer and planned connection route first, particularly if they expect to plug in directly without adding other equipment.
